Legal Question in Civil Rights Law in Virginia

We have had a campground membership with a resort for over 10 years and pay dues. This membership is transferable, but we would have to sell it and pay them transfer fees. However, due to my husband's medical issues and our financial situation. We are retired on Social Security and no longer camp, we no longer want the membership. They also froze dues at one point and we were notified. Can we get out of this membership? They are in North Carolina. We live in Va.

If you mean to ask as to whether you can "get out of this membership" without paying a penalty, the answer is likely, no, you cannot (in my opinion).
