moveing out of state

I am trying to move out of state with my 3 year old daughter so that my husband can continue to work the child's father is no where to be found do I have to tell him I am moveing out of state or do I need to tell the court THere IS no paper stateing that I can't move what do I do PLEASE HELP

Re: moveing out of state

As long as there's no order from the court requiring that you give at least 30 days advance notice of your intent to move both to the court and the father, then you're free to leave in any manner that you wish.

It goes without saying, of course, that you should make reasonable attempts periodically to inform your child's father of your new whereabouts---wherever that may be.
