Legal Question in Employment Law in Virginia
My father has been working with a coma ya for over 15 years now and had a background check renewed for him. Now even though the check shows NOTHING they are labeling him as non competitive because of a charge he admitted to getting 45 years ago as a minor and faces termination, when the company was informed about this charge when he was hired in 1999 and until now he never faced any problems from it. If the problem is not resolved and he does get fired does he have a legal case?

In the event that any adverse employment action(s) should, perhaps,
be taken against him based upon the above-described facts,
I would heartily recommend that your father arrange for a consultation
with a Virginia attorney who handles employment claims/matters and
who, hopefully, should be able to offer him competent advice in this
particular matter.
