Legal Question in Personal Injury in Virginia

traffic police report

Hello,

my mom had a car accident, she was turning left on a green arrow and a car coming from the opposite direction destroyed her car and put her in the hospital. she has a broken sternunm.now the other driver said she also had the green light and sadly they was not a witness.

now the problem is we canot get a police report, it has been one month today and no report filed.

both the insurance are tryng to get it with no avail. i called the precint about 10 times and the officer is always on leave. what is the law about him getting the report file on time???

any help is very apreciate....

Given the numerous problems that you have already detailed, your mother should consult with an attorney without further delay to ensure that her

rights are fully protected----and that she doesn't get "the short end of the stick", so to speak, in this situation.(Note: Getting a copy of the police report-if there is one-is the least of her possible problems.)
