Legal Question in Traffic Law in Virginia
bicycle rear ended my car
I stopped for pedestrians, a few seconds later a guy on a bicycle rear ended my car, he said he did not see me stop, got up and walked away. I did not stay, can I legally be held liable seeing as it was not my fault.

Re: bicycle rear ended my car
Very doubtful, but what about the damages to your car (if any)? The apparently distracted bicyclist should very likely be liable (in my opinion).
