Legal Question in Real Estate Law in Washington

im trying to buy an akita puppy from nm to be delivered to wa state and i don't want to get burned.

i've asked for a contract first, but there seems to be no current process from this breeder that includes that. my inclination is part up front and part on delivery with a bill of sale.

but i've never done this thing before and need help.

Without writing one for you as an attorney I can only offer some general statements:

1. Draft a sales contract based on a form you can find online somewhere that you like

2. READ THE FORM.

3. Formalities aren't infinitely important -- you don't need to be an attorney to draft one especially when the economics of the situation don't warrant it.

4. See if you can contact anyone that knows about the breeder.
