Legal Question in Family Law in West Virginia

Rights of 16 year old son

Does a 16 year old boy, that has found his biological father, have the right to choose to live with his father, even after the boy has been adopted? The biological father only signed the adoption papers because the mother would not allow him to see the boy, even though he was paying her child support. There is proof that there is abuse in the home, towards the boy, that is why he wants to live with the biological father.

No such right exists under Kentucky law and I would be mighty surprised if it were any different in any other state. The father's parental rights terminated, so in the eyes of the law, he is not the father.
