Is there any effect on bank statement of bouncing cheque ? Is there any effect on bank statement of bouncing cheque ? If yes, then how ?

Dear Sir / Madam,
An entry is reflected in the Bank Statement only on realization of the cheque. The bank issues an advice to the drawee for cheque dishonour along with returning back the instrument to the drawee.
