Legal Question in Banking Law in India
Hi,
I gave a Cheque of Rs1000(One Thousand) to an orphanage but later on I realized that they are fraud. So later on I stopped the Cheque payment . Will it lead to a legal issue? Please provide me some useful thoughts on this issue.
Regards,

If,the, cheque, was, given as a gift and if u have countermanded its payment the charity cannot take any action against you as the cheque was not given in discharge of any debt.
