Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Due to some medical emergencies I have committed a misappropriation which I confessed with my employer and after paying all dues I left the company (before 15 months) I am now looking to join my ex-employers competitors can my ex-employers still file a case against me?

have you tendered your resignation and have they accepted it?? Have they cleared your dues??If yes there is no reason why they should proceed against you. Had they lodged a complaint against you when the misappropriation was found?? I need more facts to give you a opinion.
