In Civil Proceedings time is 3 years limitation, from the date of knowledge of such fraud document

To file criminal complaint, there is no limitation period, but from the date of knowledge, you must lodge the FIR as soon as possible, because late reporting of FIR, though maintainable, but would cast shadow of doubt and suspicious on your complaint.
