Legal Question in Criminal Law in India
Sirs,
My late father had made some properties in Hubli in the name of his two daughters including me), brother and mother. In 2001 my brother has sold one property without obtaining my consent but the sale deed says that he had obtained consent. Other two plots and the family house are in our joint names, but my brother is refusing to put them on sale. The original documents are kept with him and i dont trust him.
I am in Bangalore and can i file a case against him with jurisdiction Bangalore so that he travels to Bangalore to fight this case. I cannot travel to Hubli for the case and my husband is not interested to support me in this property issue since he is well to do.
Can i also proceed legally against my brother and the buyer of the plot for not taking my signature to sell the plot in 2001.?
Kindly advise.

yes you can file the case but in Hubli, as the property is situated in Hubli.
