Legal Question in Education Law in India
my friend is blaming me for deceiving him in the name of the college, i received a sum of 426000 rs from him to get him admitted in one of the colleges of the bangalore under a university affiliated with that college, 250000 was the admission fees, 50000 was the broker fees, and 126000 was the tution fees, after 6 months his admission was cancelled because his university closed down, and he told me that he has confirmed that there was no admission money to b paid to get admitted in this college, i told him that its a black money, college will never say that he has received the admission(donation money), now he's blaming me and asking for the money, he threatens me that he vil go to police, so can he file a case against me? Am i guilty? What should i do? Can i file a case against him in any way?

Dear Sir / Madam,
If you say that admission fees of Rs. 2,50,000/- were paid under the table, where is the question of paying Rs. 50,000/- to a broker ? Your friend is right in asking you to return back the balance monies if you were unable to obtain receipts from the college for all amounts paid on his behalf by you to the college and handing the money receipts over to your friend. If you do not have the receipts, you will have to repay the balance monies to your friend.
Regards,
