Legal Question in Family Law in India

Hello everyone, I want to know the exact procedure for ex parte divorce. I got married under special marraige act as I m Catholic and my husband is a Muslim. however due to many reasons we started staying separetly since last 2 and a half years.. I have filed a divorce 10 months back and there were total 3 hearing until now..my husband did not turn up to any of the hearings and also he did not respond to any of the letters sent by court about hearings..now finally after 3rd hearing court decided to send a typed letter (that's what they did) and sent it manually..court has informed my lawyer that my husband is refusing to accept any court letter and by bribing the letter delivery boy he is trying to prove that letter never reached him and some of them were asked to say that they did not find his address (this has been informed by my lawyer)..now after the last manual letter and not receiving any response, my lawyer says that he will send a letter through courier services so that it is confirmed that he is avoiding these letters..I feel my lawyer is insisting too much on sending these letters instead by the court..Please can anyone of you help me knowing what exactly needs to be done in such scenario and whether the correct steps are followed?..

1 Answer from Attorneys

1) U said court sent the typed letter. Again u r saying ur lawyer is ending.

2) If the letter is sent through court and the other side avoiding then it is ok.

3) Ask ur lawyer to press for ex-parte since he is intentionally avoiding to receive.
