I've a little doubt about compensation money.am not working now.at present we are in USA and would to relocate to india by next month.my husband and me got seperated 6 months ago.we didn't apply for a divorce yet.we want it in India.in USA I too have the equal rights for the marriage funds. My lawyer suggest me to take that money as a advance for the compensation money in India.is there any rule in India that I can take an advance in the compensation.my husband lawyer in India said there is no rule saying such an condition.please help me the answers

if you both are agreeable you can divorce by mutual consent. The amount you take by way of advance can be adjusted from the final permanant alimony you claim from your husband. for further clarification contact 9312411481
