My husband and inlaws have taken my money amounting to 2 lakhs and are not willing to return. My jewellery amounting to 5 lakhs is in their locker so I had a fear that they will not return it to me. When I asked for it, they denied. How can i get my stridhan from my inlaws?

If you are living happily with your husband, you do not need to make any demand at this stage. On the other hand you may create some evidence of the facts you have mentioned; you may also speak with your husband on the issue, if you need money or if you are not comfortable in him possessing your istridhan.
Keeping your istridhan away from you is NOT an offence; however, refusing to return the same will be an offence. There is no time limit for you to demand return of your money.
you may file a complaint before the crime against women cell in Tilak nagar/Kirti Nagar and they would put in efforts to recover your stridhan.
