Legal Question in Family Law in India

I am from Tamil Nada, India. I am not living with my husband from last two years due to misunderstanding and he is not interested in living with us also. But still didn't get any legal separation. Now myself and my kid living in mom house. I am planning to get property that will help my kid future. So is there any problem ll raise by my husband in future? Or getting property needs any concerns / approval from husband as I married now.
