Legal Question in Immigration Law in St. Kitts And Nevis
I am not a US citizen or permanent resident. I have a child born in the US, can i claim anything for the child?
1 Answer from Attorneys
Your child is a US citizen by birth. He/she can have a US passport. You, however, have no right to residency or citizenship. When the child is over 21 years of age, he or she can petition for your residency then.
