Legal Question in Employment Law in India
Hi, My company just got registered as a pvt ltd & its a small firm of 15 including staff, my boss paying us 15 days delay after the salary date today is the 17th & we have nt yet been paid he tries our patient every month. I have my loans & bills to be paid which gets lapsed every month. He says that he haven't received the payment from his US client when we ask him for our salary. I'm so frustrated with this boss. Plz advice

Dear Madam / Sir,
You are the Owner / Director in the Company wherein there will be a predetermined date each month for salary payment. As a Director, you are equally responsible for payment of salaries to employees. The US remittance(s) maybe in the name of the Company. If there is a delay and the salary date has elapsed, you may independently request the auditors to ascertain whether there is actually a delay in the remittances for work done from the US clients. Keep your cool.
