Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am a divorce women. I have been transferred from my home district to sub district 70 km far from home even a vacant post is there in district. how can I cancel my transfer. I am alone with my old age mother.
please suggest legally toward my problem.

Dear Madam,
You should explain the constraints you have to your immediate superior in writing, copied to the Head-Personnel & Administration and the Legal Cell requesting that your transfer be stalled, and you be allowed to continue in your home district. It is possible that the vacancy you are mentioning about could be for a post which requires different qualifications and skill-sets than the ones you possess.

If your transfer is on a promotion to your home district with revised pay, accepting the transfer is recommended.
