Legal Question in Employment Law in India

Hello

I have joined an organization and also signed an agreement of one year it has been 1mnth that I have signed the agreement but I did not like the people in that organization and the work as well, what if I break the agreement? and my friends told that bond would be in a stamp paper but I haven't signed it in a bond paper it was just a white paper in which there were few rules and regulations and also it had my name and few of my details, it was about 5 papers and another thing is many of them told that there is no bond in India is it so?? Plz help me out with this issue, what should I do now??

Dear Sir / Madam.

Yes. An employment or service bond of any form or nature or on any pretext is illegal and a criminal offence with every Officer of the Company violating it to be liable to a fine and or simple imprisonment. There will be a notice period eg. 30 days mentioned in your Agreement. You only remain liable to serve that notice period.
