Legal Question in Employment Law in India
I am working in one of the manufacturing unit in Dewas Madhya Pradesh India. Recently I had purchased one assembly line from one of manufacturer who is pune (Maharashtra) based. Now I have to install assembly line in my factory. The whole project will take 2 months for completion and 20 labour will work at my factory premises of manufacturer. I had asked manufacturer to submit ESI & PF documents to start the work in my factory. But he told that he is having Work compensation policy and individual insurance of labor. Please tell me that WC policy and individual insurance will be sufficient to work in a factory. If their is any mishappening held WC policy work as ESI.

Dear Sir / Madam,
It is possible that the Pune based supplier has his employees covered for all risks. You should take a simple letter from the supplier that he undertakes full responsibility and liabilities arising from all risks of the entire labour force deputed to your factory premises.
