Legal Question in Real Estate Law in India

I am a landlord and have lodged a petition with the rent controller for enhancement of rent.

The original petition was for enhancement of rent after 10 yrs of staying at the same rent. Now

the hearing of the case got delayed and by this time 15 yrs have elapsed. Can I now change my

prayer to enhance the rent as per provisions of rent control act for cases staying more than 15 yrs

at same rent?
