Is anyone responsibile for a parent's bills

There has been a death in the family, the father has died. He is divorced and has 3 children. All his bills are in his name only, are the children responsible for any of his bills ???????

Not unless they signed on a contract for them. The creditors may file a claim against his estate, if he has an estate. Otherwise, the bills are uncollectible. If you have any further questions, you may call me at (205) 254-3927.
