Birth Certificate
When I was 12 my mother remarried and that man adopted me legally. I am now 37 and that man hasnt been married to my mother, or a part of my life for over 20 years. I realized the other day, however, that he is listed as my father on my birth certificate. I have had a great relationship with my birth father for years now. We live next door to each other in fact and own land together. I want my birth certificate to show my birth fathers name, not the other man. Help!

At this time the only thing you can do is have your biological father adopt you, yes even as an adult. My question to you, is it worth it to you and him in terms of the financial cost? It would probably cost a minimum of $1,000.
