Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in Alabama

Invalid will

If a will is invalid(not witnessed and signed),and an estate is set up,can anyone who the deceased owed money to,present a statement/bill for money owed and collect from the estate...What money can I recover for expenses and time incurred while caring for the deceased????

All creditors (people who are owed money) have a certain period of time to submit their bills to the court for payment. In Alabama that period is six months from the issuance of the Letters of Administration. Contact the clerk of the Probate court where the estate was filed and ask her how to file a formal claim. Should be pretty easy.
