Ex husband hired hacker to look at emails etc.

My ex husband has admittedly (to

school teacher and principal at official

meeting) hired a hacker to track my

kids internet use. Since I use the

computer for banking and business,

I'm sure the hacker has also viewed

my personal info. Is it a crime to

hack into my computer?

Yes it is a crime under both Federal and State laws. You may also have a civil action for invasion of privacy.

Criminal prosecution will not result in payment to you.
