a couple has two children, they live in separate homes, separated, but still married, one child stays with mom, the other wants to live with dad, Mother wants child home, child don't want to go there, doe's the father have to comply, or doe's he have the right to keep the child with him?????? Remember they are still Married, and this separation is done without the court involved........ the parents just separated because after 10 years she don't want to be Married anymore

While no papers have been filed, neither parents' rights are greater than the other. She cannot deny you reasonable access, and you cannot deny her. If either parent is found, down the line, to have unreasonably restricted the other parent's access to a child, there can be repercussions in Court. SO, DECISIONS YOU MAKE NOW CAN BE VERY IMPORANT LATER.
