In Arizona, it is legal to record a conversation so long as ONE party participating in the conversation knows it is being recorded. SO, if your friend is part of the conversation, YES, he can record it. If you plan to use it in Court, it is required that you provide the opposing party with a copy. It is also smart to prepare a transcript. THERE ARE MANY RULES TO ABIDE BY AS YOU GET READY FOR COURT. Your best day is Court can only occur if the Judge hears and sees everything you hope he or she will hear and see.

As you prepare for you hearing, even if you plan to handle it without an attorney, we may be able to assist you in preparing your outline and your evidence. We offer free 1/2 hour consultations, in which we can discuss your matter in detail.
