Legal Question in Family Law in Arizona
In a custody case is it admissable in the court hearing for me to have a friend record my spouse
1 Answer from Attorneys
In Arizona, it is legal to record a conversation so long as ONE party participating in the conversation knows it is being recorded. SO, if your friend is part of the conversation, YES, he can record it. If you plan to use it in Court, it is required that you provide the opposing party with a copy. It is also smart to prepare a transcript. THERE ARE MANY RULES TO ABIDE BY AS YOU GET READY FOR COURT. Your best day is Court can only occur if the Judge hears and sees everything you hope he or she will hear and see.
