Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

i am a british citizen and my 13 year old son is an american citizen because he was born in the u.s. while i was a permanent resident there as a young girl. my american fiance (who i went to school with in the u.s. 20 years ago) and i want to marry and start a family with my son and his daughter. we were going to start the k-1 visa petition next month, however my son here in england ditched school last year and now i have received a summons to appear in court for it myself. we all desperately need to know how it will affect us getting the fiancee visa if i am convicted. the maximum sentence is 3 months imprisonment and/OR a fine. they do not usually sentence parents to prison and i would more than likely receive a fine. thank you!

What criminal charges do you face? What is your crime? It's not clear from your post what you have been charged with? etc. Are you permanently living in the UK? When did you abandon your permanent residency in USA? I need to know more in order to provide you any advice or guidance.
