Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona
Hello
i am in F1 status, i had taken a semester off on medical ground as i had a new born baby, i once again had applied for another semester break but the university rejected and i am in no condition to continue but on other hand my husband has just applied for naturalization, have been called for finger print on this mid January. I was thinking of filling I-130 but without out my status it might effect procedure, so can i apply for reinstatement for f1, that might hold me here for another 5 months by then my husband might be naturalized then apply for i-130, or now itself for both i-130 & reinstatement, If possible what will be the fee for both. Pls advice.
I will really appreciate your help.

Dear Sapana,
When your husband is a US citizen, he can petition for your residency and at the same time you will be able to apply for your permanent residency (green card).
