Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

My fiancee has been living with her mother illegally in the US since she was 2 years old. (Canadian citizen entering the US through the VWP) We are planning to get married this summer and would both like to have an idea on just how crazy the paperwork is going to be. Should she leave the country and re-enter on a fiancee visa? What steps can we take to reduce legal & filing fees?

Filing fees can't be reduced. Legal fees depend on an attorney.

The issue here is whether she came to USA legally (was inspected and admitted) and has evidence of her admission. If she departs the USA for any reason for any time (even one day), she'll become inadmissible for 10 years. You should consult a lawyer before planning your course of actions after the marriage.
