Legal Question in Immigration Law in Arizona

The man I've been with for over 6 years is an illegal immigrant from Mexico. We have two children together. They just passed a new law in Arizona where any law official could ask him if he is legal or not and I am very worried that he could get deported. My question is simple. Is there anything I can do to keep him here legally??

Assuming that you are legally married - to petition for his permanent residency. However, if he came to USA illegally, he will have to go back to Mexico and apply for an immigrant visa. There is no guarantee that a visa will be granted. You should consult an immigration attorney if there are any other options available.
