What is the responsability for the person that is assigned to be "power of attorney"? If they are required to sign a document or checks how do they sign their signiture? Thanks for your help.

Re: Power of attorney
A person granted a power of attorney may refuse the position. However, if they accept the position,
they must act with the highest degree of care for the interest of their principal. They should sign
documents indicating the authority: "John Smith by Mary Smith attorney-in-fact" or "John Smith by
Mary Smith under power of attorney."
