Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arkansas

Why Does it take 2 1/2 years to get a cpnfirmatiom????

Chapter 13 filed 12/01. Largest debt owed is back support for family support. He and his attorney have failed to accept any plans to include payments to large cs judgement. every time there is a hearing they find a way of getting it canceled. Why can't doctors appointments be reschuled instead of court hearings? Is there not federal rules that say enough is enough and make a ruling to that a nondischargeable debt recieves payments before other debts? Debt that were made after the bankruptcy? Does it depend on the judge or is there rules that all federal judges have to go by. Also Can a district judge have a private law practice in the state of arkansas? Is there a board that can answer these questions other than in el doraldo.little rock or ashley county? Thank you

It is up to the judge to rule in his court. Judges may be appealed and forced to do certain things. I suggest that you consult an Attorney and follow his/her recomendations. Remember, the wheels of justice often turn slowly and "____ happens".
