Legal Question in Bankruptcy in Arkansas
Length of Time
I was told when I filed bankruptcy in 1997 that it would only be on my credit bureau for 7 years, where can I get a copy of that law?

Re: Length of Time
I'm not aware that that there is a law about that. I believe that is what the custom has been. I could be wrong, but I'm not aware of any law regulating how long you can be on a credit report.
