Legal Question in Immigration Law in Bangladesh

My green card holder mother in law law applied for my husband's immigration. When we got married he informed NVC with my information to include me as derivative. But his immigration got canceled. Does this make me immigration applicant? As I am applying for my student
Visa I need to know this to fill my DS 160 application
