Legal Question in Disability Law in California

ADA access

Do all buidlings leased by a county office or department (such as county office of education) need to be ADA compliant (even if no students to se the building)?

If so, would this include a power door entry to enable wheelchair access the building itself for employees/applicants/guests?

Re: ADA access

Generally yes. There may be old 'grandfather' exemptions, but they would be rare. IF you are disabled and have been restricted in access, feel free to contact me to discuss the situation. I've been doing such cases for over twenty years.
