Legal Question in Disability Law in California

My boyfriend was charged with 273.5 PC and 236 PC last night. He is in jail right now. I was wondering if there's anything I can do to get these charges dropped since the crime was against me? He has to work tomorrow and I dont want him to lose his job. I never said to file charges against him. Please help us.
