My daughter was a passenger in a car that "caused" an accident that resulted in three fatalies. Is she liable or is our insurance liable at all?

Whoever is on title of the car is liable, up to certain dollar limits. An owner that allows someone to drive knowing that person is drunk, impaired, unsafe or unlicensed is liable in full. The driver is liable in full. No insurance company is ever 'liable'; they don't get sued, you do. They are only under contract to provide you coverage up to your policy limits if you are found liable. You'd better immediately consult with your insurance company, and turn over to them any claims or demands you receive.
