Legal Question in Disability Law in California

discharged while on disability

i have been discharged from my position while i was on CA SDI for a recent auto accident. Is this legal? Do I have any rights?

If they have reason to terminate for cause, for performance, layoff, reduce force, etc., they can do it to you just as well as active employees. Discharge is not 'illegal' unless you can show it to be an improper response to taking the leave. IF you can show that, contact me to discuss your facts, rights and remedies.
