Discrimination at the movies
While going to the movies I went to the guest service area to purchase my ticket. I have never had a problem before, and they have even helped me into the theatre before the movie to find a seat. I went to purchase, the person behind the counter said he wouldnt sell to me, and to walk outside. After twenty minutes of arguing telling me why he wouldnt sell to me I asked him when he does sell tickets there? He told me to disabled people. I told him I was and said he could see my scars from brain and spinal surgery if he didnt beleive me. A random worker next to him yells at me that im not disabled and i walked just fine up to the counter. I asked her if she knew what disability ment, and she told me people in wheel chairs who cant walk. She told me to go outside and they wouldnt help me. What should I do, if anything??

IF you actually have a legally recognizable disability, and were refused reasonable accommodation, then complain to management for remedy, and if not corrected, you could follow up with an attorney, an agency filing and a lawsuit. A life altering condition that substantially limits you is a disability. Scars do not a disability make. If you were just trying to game the system with them to avoid a line, shame on you, you deserve to be booted out. Walking up to the inside counter after opening the doors without trouble would seem to indicate you didn't need accommodation in buying a ticket or getting in. If you need physical assistance in seating, that's different. If you asked for that and were refused, follow the suggestions above. Notify the theater manager in writing of your complaint and explain what transpired. If that doesn't work, then you could take it to the next level.
