Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I got a felony dui end of last year. it was a serious car accident, no permanent injuries, but there were broken bones ect. i am finishing my 6month jail sentence on an out of custody rehab program. recently i was in another county and received a penal code 849.5 for public intoxication, but it said that it was not an arrest, only a detention. will my probation in the county where my dui is find out about this if the DA does not file a charge for my public intoxication? I have been in constant contact with my probation even prior to my completing my jail sentence. am i technically on probation if i have yet to finish my sentence?

If you were arrested and charged, you have violated probation. Detained and released without charges should not count do so.
