Legal Question in Disability Law in California
I was on a flight from Rome to Atlanta, I showed my disability papers from the states and Doctor and the ticket lady let me in, but the guy at the end of the ramp would not let me in. I showed him the papers and he said right in my face loudly IF YOU DO NOT HAVE A WHEEL CHAIR YOUR NOT GETTING IN, I DONT SEE A WHEEL CHAIR DO YOU HAVE ONE? So he let the people with wheel chairs in with all their family members and people with babies with all their family members went first. I had brain surgery for a brain tumor and I cannot stand for long I have all the documentations from my brain surgeon Dr. Cueva MD., F.A.C.S. San Diego and documents from the U.S. stating I am disabled, I asked this guy for his name he would not give it to me and he had no name tag, he told me next time get a wheelchair. I cannot believe the treatment I received,
It was with Delta..do I have a claim thank you
John
Thank you

Even assuming this conduct was actionable under USA law despite it happening in a foreign country, you would have to be able to 'prove' what happened, who did it, etc. You admit you don't even have a name of the offender, and you said nothing about witness names either. Your word is not legally sufficient 'proof'. You could write a complaint letter to the airline and FAA, but I doubt if it is worth you spending the money to bring a lawsuit in US Federal court.
