Legal Question in Disability Law in California

I live in Aliso Viejo Califorina 92656, I am disabled and have a permenent disabled placard in my veichale. The private gated community I live in has no marked hanicap parking spots available anywhere in the community and the assoiation charges $200 for a parking permit to park outside and my '99 Ford F-150 doesn't fit in the garage it's to long. My question is if it's the law that I can park in any of the unassined spots anywhere outside as long as it's not in the red.

Anyone can park in 'un-assigned' spaces. You could contact the local Building Dept and ask for inspection of the facility re the failure to provide handicap spaces. The laws require a certain number, based upon occupancy and size. The complex had to comply at the time it was built, if that occurred after the 1960's, or anytime renovation or improvements were made. You could bring legal action for 'discrimination' for the failure to provide them, in order to force them to comply. Feel free to contact me if serious about pursuing this.
