Legal Question in Disability Law in California

hello, prudential insurance company had denied a family member long term care. they initialy denied it in oct,06 but we continued back and forth until prudenital sent us the final denial letter in april,08. we continued writing them through 2009 but never responded back. whats ca statue of limitation to sue them.

At best, maybe a four year statute on written contracts, beginning with Oct 06 denial.
