Legal Question in Administrative Law in California
We have assigned sales territories. I have served the account in question for over 8 years. A couple of months ago a colleague showed up at my customer as he was sent by my boss without telling me. Now when there is a serious potential sales at the amount of $500.000 dollar with a commission potential up to 25K, he removed me from this account and gave it to a new sales rep who happened to be a friend of his. Is there any recourse to such actions?

Find a new job?? Without a specific written contract or company policy guaranteeing you something, the employer is entitled to set and change territories, accounts, duties, titles, commission, compensation, benefits, leaves, vacations, holidays, etc.
