medical bill for deseased sister

Unmarried sister lived in New York, was told she had less than 6 mo. to live. She lived in my home for 4 weeks and died. Now all the medical bills are coming to my house. Am I liable for these bills. She had no assest.

No, unless you signed for her treatment. Send them back saying 'deceased, no longer here'.
