Legal Question in Administrative Law in California

municipal code violation... received Notice for Arraignment

I received a Notice for Arraignment letter today regarding a violation for municipal code for a side business I own. I am wondering:

1. Is this Civil or Criminal?

2. If I need to hire an attorney, what specicalty should I look for? Is it business law, criminal defense, administrative law or others?

3. Are there any orange county, CA attorneys you can recommend?

Thanks,

Re: municipal code violation... received Notice for Arraignment

Code violations are a form of criminal charges that must be defended. I practice extensively in this field and am in Orange County, so feel free to contact me if interested.

Sounds like criminal to me....get a criminal defense lawyer, or if you cannot afford one, contact the public defender. Do not miss a court date whether you have a lawyer or not, a warrant would be issued for your arrest, which may come at an inconvenient and embarrassing time.
